First DVD release from anime series Akikan! based on light novel series of the same name. One day, canned melon soda that high school boy named Kakeru unintentionally buys surprisingly turns into a girl. While he is surprised, she announces that she is going to live with him because he has become her owner. Meanwhile, a suspicious looking guy named Otoya comes and introduces himself as an officer of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Otoya asks Kakeru to join a battle between steel can and aruminum can "Akikan Election" for unifying a can's standard. Includes episode 1 and 2.
